In this intermediate course, learning and reading ancient Greek is combined with an exploration of the time period's literature and culture. Building on the basics of Greek grammar acquired at Beginners level, we will consolidate foundations to begin reading unadapted works in Attic and Koine Greek.

All texts used will be specified by the tutor at the beginning of the course.

Time, Date, and Place

This lecture-only module comprises of one 1 ½ hour class per week over two terms commencing the week beginning 15 September 2025. Lectures take place on the Trinity Campus

Course Fees

€275 full rate, €150 concession rate. The concession rate is available to all those retired, over 65s and those on a government pension/payment plan and the unwaged, including second and third level students.
