On Trinity Monday, Provost Dr. Linda Doyle announced that Professor Fintan Sheerin, Head of the School of Nursing & Midwifery, had been elected as a Fellow of Trinity College Dublin.
New Fellows are elected in recognition of their scholarship, research and impact at Trinity College Dublin.
“It is a great honour to be recognised as a Fellow by Trinity College Dublin. Throughout the duration of my career at the School of Nursing & Midwifery, I have sought to make meaningful contributions through my research, teaching and leadership. I was privileged to have been given the opportunity to be Head of School over the past four years. As head, I have worked to further the School’s strategic development and create momentum to support the future of nursing and midwifery education and research at Trinity. I am grateful to my family, colleagues, students, and the collaborators who have supported me on this journey.”
