On Thursday, 27 November at 18:30, in the Davis Theatre (Arts Block) at Trinity College Dublin, EUI researchers and faculty will explore what it means to pursue a PhD at an international research institute. Through their own experiences and research journeys, they will offer practical guidance on preparing for a doctoral path, navigating academic life at the EUI, and building a career in research.

Speakers include:

  • Max Bradley (Researcher, Dept. of Political & Social Sciences) – examining how climate change reshapes democratic politics.
  • Cathal Coffey (Researcher, Dept. of Political & Social Sciences) – analysing the financialisation of housing in Ireland and Denmark.
  • Brigid Laffan, Professor Emeritus (EUI) – distinguished scholar of European governance and former Director of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies.
