With a mix of field recordings, ambient music, live musical performances from Rachael Lavelle & Ryan Hargadon, Seamas Hyland and Kim V. Porcelli, and bespoke visuals from Tadhg O'Sullivan, this will be an open event right in the heart of Dublin on Culture Night – a space for attendees to take time to immerse into music and environmental sound and imagery. Ambient Orbit is a non-presenter led specialist music programme on RTÉ Lyric FM. It occupies a unique space in Irish radio with its beautifully crafted mix of ambient sounds and field recordings from the Irish landscape.

As Trinity Orchestra returns to the 2024-2025 academic year, they are delighted to kick off the season by partaking in the much anticipated Culture Night 2024! Journeying through a wide range of genres from pop, contemporary, traditional Irish and of course classical, the orchestra will spotlight their exceptional musicians through an evening of chamber music.
