Trinity HSE contact tracing centre helps combat COVID-19
Up to 4,000 people were contacted by the 60 volunteers operating the Contact Tracing Centre in Trinity. Thirty of these volunteers were staff from the Faculty of Health Sciences while others were from the Department of An Taoiseach and the HPRA.

Scientists rescue mini retinas from eye disease via new gene therapy approach
The scientists used a modified common virus to deliver a normal, functioning copy of a crucial gene into “mini retinas” that contained a defective version. The retinas subsequently showed signifcant improvement.
