Tatiana earned her PhD from St. Petersburg University Graduate School of Management, where she also obtained her MSc (International Business) and BSc (Management).

Tatiana's research explores the challenges of managing knowledge in organisations and the effects of the shift to hybrid work. For example, her ongoing projects examine how employees and line managers experience hybrid work and whether these experiences are gendered, why people share or hide knowledge in hybrid work settings, and what HR managers can do to build a fair and productive hybrid workplace.

Tatiana's work has been published in the leading international academic journals (e.g., Human Resource Management Journal, Human Resource Management, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Academy of Management Learning and Education, Journal of World Business) and featured in practitioner outlets and mass media such as Irish Times, The Times and RTÉ Brainstorm. Her research was supported by over €1.8 mln. of grants from a variety of institutional and governmental funders in different countries.

Tatiana has extensive teaching experience in organisational behaviour, evidence-based management, knowledge management and research methods. She designed and delivered a wide range of courses in these thematic areas across all levels - undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, executive education, DBA, PhD -, for classes from less than 10 to over 900 students, in Ireland, Spain, Belgium, Finland, Russia, Italy and Norway. In 2023, Tatiana received Maynooth University Teaching Award, for her focus on student engagement, active learning, and use of experiential approaches, and was nominated for the same award again in 2025. Her passion for teaching and innovative approach is reflected in over 20 teaching-related publications.

As a researcher and educator, Tatiana is passionate about helping organisations making better-informed decisions. She actively engages in translating her research into actionable insights accessible to broad audience through media articles, podcasts, and invited talks and workshops for practitioners. Prior to joining academia, Tatiana worked in HR and management consulting.

Key areas of interest: Knowledge sharing, knowledge hiding, hybrid and remote work, strategic human resource management, HRM implementation, gender, knowledge management

My current research explores different aspects of managing knowledge in organisations, using quantitative and qualitative research methods. I am particularly interested in the following themes:
- Why do people share or hide knowledge in organisations (and why they don"t)?
- What managers can do to facilitate knowledge sharing or prevent knowledge hiding? In particular, what HR practices work best for promoting and sustaining knowledge behaviours?
- How the shift to remote and hybrid work influences knowledge sharing and knowledge hiding?
- Gender aspects of knowledge behaviours
- Knowledge management and strategy
- Influence of context on knowledge processes and knowledge management practices
