Biography
Lauren Lahie is a PhD Researcher at Trinity College Dublin studying Corporate Political Activity in MNE Subsidiaries. She previously studied at Michigan State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and a Master of Public Policy, and at Trinity College Dublin where she earned a Master of Science in Management. Prior to her PhD, Lauren worked for the Michigan House of Representatives, CLIF Bar and Company, and the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation. Lauren has worked as a teaching assistant in “Organizational Theory and Analysis” and “International Governance and Sustainable Business”. She also co-designed and taught a module titled “Qualitative Research Methods”. During her PhD, Lauren has taken on multiple leadership roles. She served as the PhD Student Representative for two years, and also sat on the Trinity Business School Research Committee. Lauren has multiple papers under review in the field of Grand Challenges and Leadership and is a member of the Trinity Business School Centre for Social Innovation.
